Proman staffing is looking for CNC Machine operator to join our Team in the Greer, SC area
JobWe are currently seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC machines and a strong attention to detail. This role involves producing high-quality parts while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines (mills and/or lathes)
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
- Measure finished products using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Perform routine maintenance and ensure equipment is in good working condition
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous CNC machining experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift up to [30–50 lbs, adjust as needed]
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
