Construction Laborer
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team at Back-Up Power Solutions. The Construction laborer will be part of small team that are responsible for the installation of back up generators for home and business use. Back-Up Power Solutions is a rapidly growing company in the Akron and Cleveland area. Job Description:
- Carry out the daily production plan assigned by the Manager or Foreman for efficient job completion.
- Carry materials and supplies from trucks to job site so they are ready for installation or other tasks.
- Complete tasks related to installation of power generators.
- Test equipment and machinery to ensure it is in good working order.
- Clean up job site at end of day and ensure all equipment is properly secure for the night.
- Develop skills in all aspects of generator installation & assist other company departments as needed.
- Follow instructions to ensure safety of entire team.
- Minimal excavation.
- Complete other tasks assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to operate power tools safely, accurately, and efficiently.
- General mechanical and home repair with some electrical knowledge would be beneficial.
- Ability to complete work on time and on budget with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Advanced organizational skills
- Experience with short run 1 1/2” piping and thread cutting for generator install (preferred).
