Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Licensed Healthcare Administrator to lead and oversee the operations of our long-term care facility. This role is vital in ensuring the delivery of exceptional resident care while maintaining compliance with all health regulation policies. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in senior care, nursing home administration, and healthcare management, along with a passion for improving the quality of life for residents with diverse needs, including those requiring Alzheimer’s and dementia care. Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of the facility, ensuring high standards of resident care and staff performance.
- Develop, implement, and monitor personalized care plans for residents, including those with memory impairments and developmental disabilities.
- Supervise nursing staff and healthcare professionals to ensure effective medication administration, nursing procedures, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with long-term care regulations, health policies, and licensing requirements across all departments.
- Oversee financial management tasks such as budgeting, healthcare financial management, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, supervision, and performance evaluations to build a motivated and competent team.
- Foster strong relationships with residents’ families, social workers, and community partners to support holistic care approaches.
Skills
- Extensive assisted living experience with a deep understanding of senior care dynamics.
- Proven nursing home experience coupled with leadership roles in healthcare settings.
- Knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, memory care strategies, dementia care practices, and home & community care services.
- Strong familiarity with long-term care regulations and health regulation policy compliance.
- Demonstrated management skills in healthcare operations, including budgeting and financial oversight.
- Supervising experience with a focus on nursing leadership and team development.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families.
- Ability to navigate complex healthcare systems while maintaining compassionate resident-centered service.
