Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant VPK Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curricula, managing classroom dynamics, and supporting the growth and development of each child.
Duties
- Help implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and physical education.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Conduct assessments and standardized testing to monitor student progress.
- Provide individualized support through
- Foster communication with parents regarding their child's development and progress.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all children, emphasizing child welfare.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Maintain records of student achievements and classroom activities.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in various educational settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools.
- Strong background in childhood development principles
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management is essential.
- 45 DCF Training Hours
Pay: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour
