- Researching and analyzing new technologies, products, and services to determine their potential value to the organization.
- Designing and developing technical solutions to meet business needs, such as software applications, hardware systems, and network infrastructure.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business stakeholders, to gather and analyze requirements for technology solutions.
- Testing and evaluating new technologies and systems to ensure they meet performance, security, and usability standards.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues and incidents, such as system failures, network outages, and security breaches.
- Maintaining and upgrading existing systems and infrastructure to ensure they are secure, reliable, and efficient.
- Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and best practices for technology use and security.
- Providing training and support to end-users and other team members on the use of technology solutions.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for the organization.
- Managing technology projects and budgets, including creating project plans, schedules, and deliverables, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Development and creation of new technology capabilities, analytics capabilities, and innovation for internal and/or external use.
These certified IT professionals will attend regular meetings in the various offices to identify the IT needs of said offices and work together with the service desk team. They work with federal employees following each person from onboarding until their offboarding.
Requires Bachelor’s degree and eight to ten years of related experience, including three to five years of supervisory/management experience.
