We are looking for a professional, experienced Lead Detail Technician to oversee detailing operations in our shop.
This is not an entry-level position and not a job for someone who needs to be trained. You must be able to show up on time, follow a schedule, communicate clearly, lead a team, and deliver high-quality work consistently.
If you are late often, unreliable, or need constant supervision, this will not be a good fit.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee daily detailing operations in the shop
- Arrive by 7:50 AM and run the shop schedule
- Perform high-quality interior and exterior detailing, including complex, in-depth detail, high-ticket jobs
- Inspect and sign off on team members' work to ensure quality standards are met
- Train, mentor, and hold junior detailers accountable
- Maintain cleanliness and proper care of shop tools and equipment
- Communicate with customers professionally, including handling escalations
- Represent the company brand at all times
- Work independently and lead others without constant supervision
Requirements:
- 4+ years professional detailing experience, with prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Reliable transportation to shop
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to lead a team and work without supervision
- Professional attitude with customers
- No habitual call-outs or excuses
- Must pass a trial period (paid)

Pay: $40,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
