Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, & Equipment) Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately estimating costs related to FF&E packages for commercial interior projects. Your expertise will support project budgeting, cost control, and procurement strategies, ensuring seamless coordination between design intent and financial feasibility. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects within a dynamic interior construction environment.
Duties
- Prepare detailed FF&E cost estimates by analyzing project drawings, specifications, and client requirements
- Collaborate with design teams and clients to develop accurate pricing proposals that align with project budgets and design expectations.
- Utilize Bluebeam for reviewing and markup of construction documents to extract relevant data for estimation purposes.
- Assist in the development of bid packages, including scope of work definitions
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction estimating, specifically within interior construction or FF&E projects.
- Strong proficiency with estimating or project management software.
- Knowledge of construction site operations, construction management principles, and contract administration.
- Familiarity with cost control techniques, pricing strategies, and project budgeting processes.
- Hands-on experience with construction site activities and understanding of construction schedules.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contractual documents accurately.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams including design, procurement, and project management.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
