Pop Empanada is a Fast-Casual restaurant serving Empanadas, Sandwiches, Salads and Desserts in an artistic art gallery setting.
We are looking for a professional line cook to prepare food at our beautiful fast casual Empanada restaurant. Line cook duties will consist of some preparation and some cooking. We have a short and simple, but unique menu, with Empanadas, Sandwiches and Salads.
Responsibilities
- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with given recipes
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Skills
- Cooking experience, preferably experience as a line cook, Deli Grill worker, restaurant cook or prep cook
- Good understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Positive, happy attitude
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
