CTI is recruiting for a Project Manager to support our NGA contract's IT division (TDS) in advancing project delivery, strengthening Agile practices, and enabling effective governance. This role will work across multiple IT teams to improve project execution, resource management, and data-driven decision-making within a maturing PMO environment.
Agile Delivery & Team Enablement
- Partner with IT teams to implement and mature Agile methodologies within a centralized or integrated project
management tool
- Assess team needs and tailor Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, hybrid approaches) to best fit varying use
cases
- Guide teams in improving backlog management, sprint planning, and delivery consistency
Governance & PMO Support
- Collaborate with the PMO Manager to collect, track, and manage data required for IT governance processes and
reporting
- Support the maturation of resource management practices across IT teams, including estimated time tracking and
capacity planning
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and usability across project and portfolio tracking tools
- Develop meeting agendas, facilitate governance forums, and lead discussions with IT leadership, including
managers and the CIO
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of governance frameworks, standards, and rituals
Project Leadership
- Serve as a Project Manager for strategic IT initiatives, including enterprise efforts such as a SharePoint intranet
migration
- Manage project scope, schedule, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications
- Provide clear status reporting and escalation management to leadership
Emerging Technology & Governance
- Support IT leadership in exploring and operationalizing emerging technologies, including Agentic AI
- Assist in defining governance frameworks, workflows, and best practices for AI agents and related solutions
- Collaborate with IT and PMO leadership to align innovation efforts with organizational standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within IT environments
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks and experience applying them across diverse teams
- Experience with project management and Agile tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, or similar centralized platforms)
- Demonstrated ability to work across teams and influence without direct authority
- Experience supporting governance processes, reporting, and executive-level communication
- Strong facilitation skills, including leading meetings with senior stakeholders
Preferred
• Experience working in a government environment
- Familiarity with IT governance frameworks and PMO operations
- Exposure to emerging technologies, including AI or automation initiatives
