Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the seamless operation of our facilities. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC/R equipment, and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, refrigeration systems, air conditioning units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install new appliances, HVAC systems, and mechanical components following safety protocols and manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct repairs on mechanical systems including pumps, motors, belts, valves, and other related equipment to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used within maintenance management systems (MRO).
- Lead small teams during maintenance projects or equipment upgrades to ensure timely completion while adhering to safety standards.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to restore operations swiftly and efficiently.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
- Demonstrated ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and blueprints for troubleshooting and installation purposes.
- Hands-on experience with appliance installation and repair across commercial or industrial settings.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and refrigeration equipment.
- Construction experience or familiarity with building infrastructure is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with leadership skills to guide team members during maintenance operations.
- Prior experience working with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) supplies and tools is highly desirable.
