Daniel E. Koch Inc. located in Scappoose, OR currently hiring a Diesel Mechanic.
Job Summary
- Position is responsible for servicing a fleet of log and dump trucks.
- Perform preventative maintenance on trucks scheduled service days.
- Responsible for minor to major repairs to trucks, trailers, and other equipment.
- Weld and fabricate material on equipment.
- Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns.
- Tools provided.
- Work performed in company shop.
- Fabrication of new equipment and custom parts.
- Must be capable of diagnosing and fix issues using computer diagnostics
- Keep detailed maintenance records for the entire fleet
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment

Experience:
- Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
- Log Truck or Dump Truck repair: 1 year (Preferred)
