Operations Manager — SeoulSkin
New York, NY · Full-time, on-site · Reports directly to the CEO
$60,000 ~ $87,000, depending on experience
Who we are
SeoulSkin is a medical aesthetics practice with one mission: to give everyone an aesthetic primary-care provider who truly understands them. Think of a primary-care doctor, but for your skin and beauty. Someone who knows your history and your goals, and stays with you over time.
Three values guide everything we do:
- Accessible. Great aesthetic care should not be reserved for the few.
- Trusted. We build long-term relationships, not one-time transactions.
- Transparent. Honest advice, clear pricing, and no pressure to buy what you don't need.
And it is working. We are growing about 15% month over month. Compounded, that is roughly five times bigger a year from now.
The role
You will help keep SeoulSkin running day to day, and help us build the systems that let us grow without losing the warmth that makes us different. This is a hands-on role with a lot of range. Some days you are solving a scheduling problem, some days you are smoothing over a patient's frustration, some days you are figuring out how to make a repetitive task disappear with a better tool. You will work directly with the CEO and learn fast.
We are not looking for someone who has done this exact job for ten years. We want someone smart, warm, and energetic who is ready to grow into a much bigger role as the company grows.
What you'll do (the first year)
- Support and coordinate our front desk team so check-in, scheduling, and the patient experience run smoothly
- Handle patient questions and complaints that go beyond the front desk. Non-clinical, but they matter and need a real person
- Keep the clinic stocked and organized: supplies, inventory, ordering, and the physical space
- Coordinate home-visit scheduling and product logistics
- Learn and run our operations tools, and become the bridge between our clinical team and the AI systems we use to work better
What we're looking for
We care more about how you think and who you are than where you have worked.
- You have energy, intelligence, and most importantly, integrity
- You notice when something is broken before anyone tells you, and you go fix it
- You learn quickly, and you are not intimidated by new tools or new software
- You are genuinely curious about AI and excited to use it to do your job better, not afraid of it
- Bonus: fluency in Korean, or familiarity with Korean and Korean-American culture. Not required, but it helps here
- Bonus: work experience where you dealt with people and got things done (healthcare, hospitality, startups, and customer-facing roles all count)
What we're not looking for
Someone who needs a step-by-step playbook for everything. Someone who solves every problem by asking to hire more people. Someone who treats patients like tickets to close.
How you'll grow
This role starts hands-on and gets bigger fast. As we open more locations, the person in this seat grows with the company: from running one clinic well, to building how we open the next one, to owning the systems that keep our patients coming back. If you are the right person, you will look very different in two years. So will we.
