Job Description:
As a CDL Driver at Rentalex, you will be responsible for transporting construction tools and equipment to job sites, warehouses, and customers. Your role will be critical to ensuring our clients have the necessary equipment to complete their projects safely and on time. We’re looking for someone who is reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused.
This position is for an f350 or f550 with tow behind equipment trailer.
Key Responsibilities:
· Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to transport equipment and tools.
· Load and unload construction tools and equipment.
· Ensure proper securing of loads to prevent damage or injury.
· Perform daily vehicle inspections and ensure the truck is in safe working condition.
· Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
· Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on-site.
· Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
· Assist with equipment preparation and organization as needed.
Requirements:
· Valid CDL (Class A ) license with a clean driving record.
· Experience driving commercial vehicles, preferably in the construction or equipment transport industry.
· Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
· Strong communication and customer service skills.
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus.
· Willingness to travel to various job sites and customer locations.
