Join our Dental team as a Dental Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare! Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and sterilized equipment following strict infection control and aseptic techniques.
- Take dental radiographs (X-ray) and operate medical imaging equipment such as 3D scanners to support accurate diagnoses.
- Manage patient records using Dentrix, while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
- Perform chairside assisting duties including taking vital signs, explaining procedures using dental terminology, and supporting patients through their treatment journey.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments with the dental receptionist and managing medical documentation and records efficiently.
- Ensure the dental clinic adheres to infection control standards and maintains a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ Years of dental assisting experience Required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask and stay efficient under pressure
- X-ray certification
