Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper (Full-Time) to join our team at Careview Transitional Care of Weston. In this position you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean environment that supports health and healing for our patients and staff. Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, residential units, or common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
Ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens with care and efficiency
Maintain floors through proper care techniques including carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and buffing to ensure a spotless appearance
Restock supplies in rooms or public areas, including toiletries, linens, and cleaning products
Assist with special cleaning projects as needed
Respond promptly to guest or resident requests for additional cleaning or amenities with a friendly attitude
Ensure all sanitation standards are met by adhering to health and safety regulations during cleaning procedures
Monitor cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management
Follow safety protocols and infection control procedures at all times
Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services preferred
Knowledge of cleaning products and their safe usage
Knowledge of residential and commercial cleaning techniques including floor care and carpet cleaning
Familiarity with laundry operations and sanitation practices to ensure hygiene standards are met
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks successfully
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and courteously
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment safely
