ABA(Applied Behavior Analysis) CASE MANAGER
Reports to: Accounts Receivable Director
Overview: Responsible for ABA authorizations.
Job Responsibilities:
· Travel to each location as needed
· Implement company policies and procedures as needed
· Maintain ABA case manager policies and procedures
· Verify insurance benefits for ABA
· Enter and Maintain accurate ABA service authorization in Central Reach.
· Timely notification to insurance companies for Admissions and Discharges.
· Ability to handle multiple caseloads and collaborate effectively with BCBAs, RBTs, caregivers and administrative staff.
· Recover missed session by coordinating make-up hours within the authorized period.
· Communicates appropriately and clearly with management, co-workers and insurance companies
· Updates insurance documentation as needed
· Scan in all correspondence in regards to authorization into Central Reach.
· Assist team with quality outcomes as appropriate
· Coordinate with team members, vendors, and providers as needed to ensure accurate census, payor types, and authorization at all times
· Must have excellent communication and foster strong relationships between the community business offices, community department heads, Administration, Insurance companies etc.
· Communicate any authorization barriers to AR Director.
· Identify areas of opportunity and work with the team to improve performance as needed
· Various projects and assignments as needed.
· Back up to other Case Manager and cover case load when on vacation.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 2 years ABA experience.
· Minimum of 2 year ABA authorization experience.
· Ability to multi-task and excellent customer service skills.
· Proficiency in reviewing clinical documents and able to analyze documents for authorization purposes.
· Able to use a photocopier, adding machine, personal computer, and experienced with spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel), word processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word), and email software (e.g., Microsoft Outlook, G-Mail).
· Possess refined interpersonal and telephone communication skills.
Education and Certification:
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.

*****ABA Case Manager position - PT moving to FT - 24.00 an hour then moving to FT 50K a year.
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
