What You’ll Do
As a Lead Carpenter, you’ll be responsible for both executing high-quality work and leading your crew to do the same:
- Lead and manage a crew of carpenters and laborers on active job sites
- Direct daily tasks, maintain workflow, and ensure accountability across the team
- Execute and oversee work on custom home builds, renovations, and additions
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Perform and supervise framing, finish carpentry, and high-end detail work
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to plan specifications
- Train, mentor, and develop crew members to strengthen overall team performance

What You Bring
- 3+ years of hands-on carpentry or residential construction experience (lead or crew leadership experience preferred)
- Proven ability to lead and manage a small crew effectively on a job site
- Strong ability to read plans, layout work, and execute with accuracy
- Confidence using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Reliable transportation, strong work ethic, and solid references
- Willingness to complete a tape measure test during the interview

Location & Schedule
- Location: Florence, Alabama (relocation required before start)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
