Machine Operator Job DescriptionJob Summary
The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to produce quality parts that meet customer specifications. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Operate machinery and equipment according to established procedures and work instructions.
· Set up machines for production runs, including tooling changes and adjustments.
· Monitor machine performance and inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met.
· Measure and verify product dimensions using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
· Troubleshoot minor machine issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain production.
· Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
· Accurately complete production and quality documentation.
· Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
· Communicate production issues, equipment concerns, and quality problems to supervisors.
· Assist with material handling and other production-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED preferred.
· Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred but not required.
· Ability to read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and production schedules.
· Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
· Ability to use measuring instruments and perform basic mathematical calculations.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Gage reading Dial Bore gages, Calipers, Depth Mic. Etc.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift.
· Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
· Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.
Work Schedule
Full-time position. Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs. 1st shift Monday thru. Friday / 2nd shift working (4) 10 hour days. Fridays as needed

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
