Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface sanitation to ensure a hygienic environment
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment for various surfaces
- Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
- Maintain floor care by performing carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and other floor maintenance activities
- Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or supplies safely and efficiently
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained, sanitized, and stored after use
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and provide personalized housekeeping services
- Follow time management practices to complete tasks within designated schedules while maintaining high-quality standards
- Assist with outdoor work when necessary, such as patio or porch cleaning or yard tidying
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles, with janitorial or custodial background preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floors, carpets, and sanitation procedures using various cleaning agents and equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques for different environments including outdoor spaces if required
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the day
- Experience in managing housekeeping routines or supervising housekeeping staff is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
