Job Description:
We are seeking compassionate and skilled Medical Psychiatric Nurses (Med/Psych RNs) to join our multidisciplinary team. This role focuses on providing integrated medical and psychiatric care to patients with complex physical and mental health needs, while delivering patient-centered, high-quality care.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program (required)
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention & Intervention) Certification (required)
- Minimum 2–3 years of combined MedSurg and Psychiatric nursing experience (required)
- Knowledge of psychotropic medications and medical/psychiatric treatment interactions
- Ability to work flexible hours and lift/move patients as needed
