Job Summary:
We are looking for somebody to join our team that meets the following criteria:

Duties
- Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Operate POS systems for customer orders, sales transactions, and cash handling.
- Manage customer orders with accuracy, ensuring timely service and up selling to enhance sales opportunities
- Maintain a clean workspace by sanitizing equipment, counters, and dining areas regularly
- Process cash transactions accurately and handle cash register operations with professionalism
- Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely during food preparation and service
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, taking orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Support food safety management practices by following proper handling procedures and sanitation protocols
- Contribute to retail sales transactions through friendly engagement and effective upselling techniques
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred
- Food preparation or culinary experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Experience in food handling, cashiering, or retail sales transactions is beneficial
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts
- Customer service background with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in diverse environments
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and kitchen equipment operation is desirable
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately are essential
- Experience working in grocery stores or café environments can be an asset
