Security Officer - Overnight Hours
As a Security Officer in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial institution location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the banking location, including lobbies, entrances, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor movement in accordance with site protocols, reporting unusual activity and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

Support closing and opening routines, inspect assigned areas for security-related concerns, and assist with maintaining orderly operations during normal business hours and after-hours activity.
Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
