Qualifications:
- Valid ESA certification in School Psychology within Washington state
- Background in educational settings, ideally as a School Psychologist or in a similar role within public schools
- Successful completion of a fingerprint background check
- Experience implementing BIPs, AIPs, conducting FBAs, and using ABA and Discrete Trial Training highly desirable
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as assessment coordinator, completing approximately 50-60 evaluations annually
- Coordinate and conduct formal psychoeducational assessments and prepare comprehensive reports for the special education team
- Develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), Academic Intervention Plans (AIPs), and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
- Apply data-driven instructional strategies based on ABA and Discrete Trial Teaching principles
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
