Miniature Casting Corporation is a leader in the manufacturing of high-quality precision components for the automotive, medical and electronics industries. We manufacture miniature and sub-miniature zinc die castings.

Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process inspections or audits as required by Control Plans and/or Check sheets
- Inspect or test manufactured samples; process any defects, as required
- Records inspection results
- Responsible for rejecting defective parts
- Record inspection results. Ensure ongoing ISO compliance. Work in team-oriented activities and interface with quality, manufacturing, and engineering teams.
- Individuals should know how to interpret prints/drawings, written job specifications, quality manuals.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required for technician role
- Two years of related experience or training
- Experience in a manufacturing environment in a Quality Department, specifically with experience on a “shop floor” and in a non-lab environment
- Visual acuity required for performance of inspection tasks
- Able to follow instructions and maintain neat, accurate records
- Measuring with basic instruments: micrometer, and calipers. (English & Metric)
- Ability to work independently; multi-task and manage time + priorities.
- Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Capable of lifting items weighing 50lbs.
- Ability to work in the US without sponsorship
Preferred Skills:
- Die casting, stamping, screw machine or plastic injection molding experience
