Repairs and refines fiberglass and gelcoat surfaces on boats and marine equipment. Identify defects, prepare surfaces for repair, apply and match gelcoat colors, buffing and polishing, and coordinating with management and other team members. Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying and assessing damage: Detecting cracks, blisters, stress fractures, and cosmetic flaws.
- Surface preparation: Grinding, smoothing, and shaping damaged areas using power or hand tools.
- Gelcoat application: Mixing, spraying, or brushing gelcoat on repaired surfaces, ensuring color matching.
- Paint application: Mixing, spraying, or roll and tipping paint on marine surfaces, ensuring color matching.
- Finishing: Buffing and polishing repaired surfaces to achieve a smooth, professional finish.
- Material management: Planning and estimating repair times, coordinating with management on material needs, and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaboration and communication: Working with team members, providing guidance, and maintaining clear communication.
- Safety and maintenance: Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety standards, and staying up-to-date on industry practices.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
