Job Overview
We're looking for a detail-oriented Saw Operator to join our Foundry team, reporting to the Foundry Supervisor.
Duties
- Cut gates and risers off castings using a band saw.
- Keep different metal alloys properly separated throughout the processes.
- Maintain your saw in good working order, including daily inspection of guide wheels.
- Notify the leadman or supervisor when the blade stock is running low.
- Take on other duties as assigned by leadman or supervisor.
Skills
- Prior experience operating bandsaw or similar equipment (foundry experience a plus!)
- Strong attention to detail for quality inspection work.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and wear safety PPE
