Hotel Night Auditor/Security | Part-time Position Available

We’re currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Auditor/Security who enjoys being part of a supportive, team-focused workplace.
JOB SUMMARY:
- The primary duties of the night auditor are to check front office accounting records for accuracy, compile information for the financial records, assist guests with check-in & check-out processes, provide guests with hotel services information, and accommodate guests during their stay in an attentive, courteous and friendly manner.
- The primary duties of the security is providing a safe and secure environment for guests and hotel staff, for communicating shift activity to management, and for conducting oneself in a professional, friendly and attentive manner during all external and internal guest encounters.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintain the security of cash, credit card transactions, and guest information.
- Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with front office
- Balance the computer system posting against the department balances and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Complete daily auditing, balancing, and closing procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Run all audit reports. Complete reporting requirements including daily report.
- Accurately manage cash drawer and credit card system.
- Managing front desk activity and handling guest check-ins and check-outs in a courteous and pleasant manner.
- Maintain guest confidentiality at all times.
- Use proper telephone and reservation etiquette including describing the hotel, proper rate quotation and capturing reservations.
- Communicate pertinent shift information to the next shift and direct supervisor.
- Work in a safe and conscientious manner.
- Adhere to all safety policies and security procedures, including but not limited to securing doors during appropriate hours.
- Maintaining current federal and state regulatory training is required.
