We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our multidisciplinary team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive behavior intervention plans, guiding clients and their families toward greater understanding and positive behavioral growth. Key Responsibilities
As a BCBA at Dream Kids ABA, you will:
- Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Perform in-depth behavioral assessments, including functional analyses in natural and simulated environments, to identify the functions of behaviors and inform treatment planning.
- Design Individualized Treatment Plans: Formulate evidence-based, culturally sensitive, and person-centered behavior intervention plans that address clients’ cognitive, social, emotional, and sensory needs, promoting adaptive behaviors and skill acquisition.
- Deliver and Oversee Interventions: Provide direct, high-quality therapeutic interventions and supervise the implementation of treatment plans by other team members (e.g., RBTs, BCaBAs), adjusting strategies as needed based on ongoing data.
- Collaborate and Coordinate Care: Engage in crucial collaboration with families, caregivers, medical professionals, educators, and other specialists to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to client care.
- Monitor Progress and Analyze Data: Collect, analyze, and interpret detailed behavioral data during sessions, meticulously tracking progress toward goals and making data-driven decisions to optimize treatment outcomes.
- Educate and Empower Stakeholders: Provide comprehensive coaching and training to families and caregivers, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to support generalization of learned behaviors in various settings.
- Adhere to Professional Standards: Operate ethically and effectively within established clinical guidelines, timeframes, and resource constraints, ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Champion Best Practices: Remain actively abreast of the latest research, advancements, and evidence-based practices in Applied Behavior Analysis, integrating new knowledge into clinical work.
- Advocate for Inclusion: Actively advocate for the inclusion and well-being of individuals with disorders and disabilities within society.
What You Bring
We are looking for a BCBA who is not only clinically proficient but also deeply committed to our mission:
- Certification: Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
- Clinical Acumen: Demonstrated expertise in conducting behavioral assessments, formulating robust treatment plans, and delivering effective interventions.
- Collaboration & Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in report writing and interdisciplinary collaboration. Strong understanding of appropriate referral procedures.
- Personal Attributes: A calm, empathetic, and patient demeanor, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and their families.
- Documentation: Ability to provide documentation backing up supervised years of experience.
