Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented New Accounts Representative to join our financial services team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for new clients, guiding them through the account setup process and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience. Your expertise in banking products, customer relationship management, and financial compliance will be essential in establishing strong client relationships and promoting our suite of banking solutions. Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective clients to understand their banking needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
- Process new account applications accurately using banking software, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Verify customer information, perform fraud prevention checks, and detect potential security risks during onboarding.
- Maintain detailed records of all account openings, updates, and related customer interactions.
- Upsell additional banking products or services to existing clients to enhance their financial portfolios.
- Assist customers with cash handling, processing cash transactions, and managing cash drawers when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to banking regulatory compliance and industry standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer relationship management within a financial or banking environment.
- Strong knowledge of banking products, loan origination, and financial sales techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and banking software systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
- Basic math skills including retail math, cashiering, debits & credits, and cash management procedures.
- Familiarity with industry knowledge of financial regulations, fraud detection, and compliance standards.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using 10 key typing skills and cash drawer handling procedures.
- Technical proficiency in processing loan applications, cash handling, and using financial software tools.
