Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced <PERSON>/Supervisor to oversee construction projects and manage field operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive construction management expertise, and proficiency with industry-standard software. This role involves supervising construction activities, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating project schedules to deliver successful outcomes on time and within budget.
Duties
- Supervise daily construction site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety protocols
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth operations
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction processes
- Manage project budgets, track costs, and assist with construction estimating and budgeting tasks
- Ensure quality control by inspecting work for compliance with specifications and standards
- Oversee the use of construction management tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Primavera
- Enforce OSHA regulations and promote a safe working environment for all personnel
- Supervise subcontractors and labor teams, providing guidance and resolving on-site issues promptly
- Monitor progress through project scheduling techniques and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to project timelines
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction management with a proven track record of supervising large-scale projects
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM), HeavyBid, ProCore, Bluebeam, and other construction management software
- Strong knowledge of contracts, construction estimating, budgeting, and project scheduling
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and safety regulations on construction sites
- Excellent management skills with experience supervising teams in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled in quality control procedures and ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Knowledge of pipeline projects or heavy civil construction is a plus
- Ability to operate tools such as ohmmeters for electrical inspections is advantageous
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination among team members and stakeholders
