ArDan Construction is hiring a Shop & Purchasing Coordinator in North Phoenix, Arizona to support our production team by managing materials, inventory, fleet maintenance, tools, equipment, and shop operations.
This role is responsible for ensuring our projects have the right materials at the right time, our fleet and equipment remain organized and operational, and our field teams have everything they need to deliver a world-class experience to our clients.

What You'll Be Responsible For
As a Shop & Purchasing Coordinator, you will:
- Plan, order, and coordinate delivery of rough and finish materials for multiple active projects
- Maintain inventory levels for project materials, shop supplies, tools, and equipment
- Develop strong supplier relationships and secure competitive pricing
- Ensure materials arrive at job sites accurately and on schedule
- Manage material returns, credits, and inventory reconciliation
- Support Project Managers with procurement, scheduling, and field coordination
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and functionality of the shop, yard, and storage areas
- Oversee fleet maintenance schedules, vehicle records, and equipment tracking
- Coordinate vehicle setups and tool allocations for new crews and projects
- Track and document company-owned tools and equipment
- Assist with shop improvements, facility maintenance, and operational efficiency initiatives
- Train team members on shop procedures, inventory systems, and tool management
Operations & Purchasing Excellence
- Maintain a proactive approach to purchasing and inventory management
- Understand project schedules and anticipate material needs before they become urgent
- Reduce unnecessary supply runs through proper planning and communication
- Monitor budgets and purchasing decisions to support company profitability
- Maintain accurate documentation, records, and inventory systems
- Communicate clearly and consistently with Project Managers, vendors, subcontractors, and field teams
Fleet, Equipment & Facility Management
- Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs for company vehicles
- Maintain vehicle records, agreements, inspections, and maintenance schedules
- Ensure tools, trailers, and equipment are organized, operational, and available when needed
- Manage shop safety, cleanliness, and organization standards
- Coordinate facility maintenance items including HVAC systems, filters, exterior upkeep, and general property needs
- Monitor dumpster services, storage areas, and yard organization

Requirements
- Construction, remodeling, purchasing, inventory, warehouse, or operations experience preferred
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and equipment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Basic computer proficiency including email, spreadsheets, and digital documentation
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift, move, and organize materials and equipment as needed
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
