Summary: Nevada Pic A Part is seeking a dedicated and experienced Vehicle Movement Lead to join our auto salvage operations team. This is a working lead position, responsible for supporting all vehicle movement functions while ensuring strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s). The ideal candidate will be hands-on in daily operations, provide training to new employees, and verify department tools, safety procedures, and inspections to maintain the highest standards of performance and compliance.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in an automotive, salvage, or yard operations role

Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Strong understanding of SOPs, vehicle processing, and yard safety procedures

Ability to train and mentor team members effectively

Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)

Must pass a background check and drug screening
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform and oversee all vehicle movement and processing support functions
-
Ensure all vehicle movements are completed safely and in compliance with SOP’s

Verify daily operations align with company safety and quality standards

Train new team members on department procedures, equipment use, and safety practices

Monitor and maintain all department tools and equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition

Conduct routine inspections of vehicles, tools, and work areas for compliance and safety

Act as a point of contact between yard employees and management for vehicle processing

Support inventory, staging, and dismantling preparation activities as needed

Lead by example and promote a culture of accountability, safety, and teamwork
