American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Mother & Baby (Couplet Care) position in Kansas, requiring an active KS or compact RN license and NRP certification.

Mother & Baby unit specializing in couplet care, including postpartum and well-baby patients
-
Night shift position, 6:45 PM – 6:45 AM, 12-hour shifts at 36 hours per week

Required to work every 3rd weekend

Floating to the Special Care Nursery may be required

No on-call requirements

13-week contract

Active RN license in Kansas (KS) or a compact RN license recognized in KS

Current certifications: BLS and NRP

Prior Mother & Baby / couplet care (postpartum and well-baby) nursing experience required

Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates — no radius rule applies

Former permanent employees of the facility must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler

Two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are required, or an approved declination must be on file (booster not required)
