LTW Ergonomic Solutions is looking for a Welder to work in our Dowagiac manufacturing facility (training required in Lawrence, MI facility). We are a fast growing ergonomic solutions company that designs and manufactures ergonomic equipment for various industries around the world.
This position would be someone with a great personality who has the ability to achieve goals, deadlines, and complete tasks as assigned, all while staying within budgets. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and have great attention to detail while maintaining a high level of productivity.
The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, be well versed in all types of manufacturing processes such as welding, fabrication, machining, and assembly.
The ideal candidate would have training and experience in Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles, and be able to share how they have successfully used these methods in real life to achieve goals.
Job Requirements Include:
- 3 years min. work experience
- Excellent MIG & TIG Welding. Weld tests are performed upon interview.
- Excellent ability to use a tape measure. Measuring tests are performed upon interview.
- Excellent ability in reading, understanding, and operating from detail manufacturing drawings
- Excellent ability in fabricating custom projects, maintaining squareness and overall product dimensions
- Patience and ability to work under pressure and deadlines with a positive attitude. A positive attitude is non-negotiable with all LTW positions.
- Must be a self-starter and self-motivator
- Excellent team skills
- Excellent Mechanical skills
- Willing to work OT as needed
- Hourly rate based on experience
- First shift hours of 6:30am – 3:00pm or as determined by manufacturing manager
- High School Diploma
Preferred Characteristics:
