Job Description
- Provide legal counsel to employers on workplace matters including discipline, termination, accommodations, and wage and hour compliance
- Draft and review employment-related documents such as handbooks, agreements, and policies
- Represent clients before state and local administrative agencies
- Conduct workplace investigations and provide strategic risk-mitigation advice
- Collaborate with clients on employment law compliance and preventative practices
- Handle both counseling and litigation-prevention work
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice in New Jersey
- 5+ years of employment law experience
- Experience advising employers and drafting employment-related documents
- Familiarity with state and federal employment laws
- Excellent communication, analytical, and writing skills
