We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager - Cannabis Cultivation and Retail, with a passion for cannabis and strong leadership skills, to lead our integrated operations, driving excellence in both cultivation and retail environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee all aspects of cannabis production from seed to sale, as well as to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities
- Manage all cultivation, retail processes and oversee regulatory compliance.
- Develop, implement, and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cultivation, processing and retail sales to maintain high-quality standards.
- Oversee retail operations by managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and optimizing sales performance.
- Supervise horticultural teams as per their duties, and the reporting requirements of those activities.
- Maintain detailed records of crop production activities, inventory levels and payroll as well as compliance.
- Foster a collaborative team environment by managing cultivation, processing, and retail staff effectively and efficiently.
Skills
- Extensive experience with METRC and its interface with POS systems.
- Strong knowledge of cannabis cultivation and sales.
- Proven ability to develop and enforce SOPs related to horticulture and retail operations.
- Hands-on experience managing employees from scheduling to payroll.
