Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Late Night Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals during the late night hours, ensuring that all food safety standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and contribute to a dynamic dining atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, including salads, burgers, and other late-night offerings
- Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are strictly followed to maintain hygiene standards
- Assist in meal preparation and food presentation to meet quality expectations
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work stations
- Manage inventory levels and communicate supply needs for efficient operation
- Support catering requests or special event preparations as needed
- Collaborate with team members to deliver prompt and friendly service during late-night hours
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is preferred
- Strong culinary experience with a focus on food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
- Proficiency in knife skills, meal preparation, and food handling techniques
- Experience working in fine dining or restaurant environments is advantageous
- Knowledge of menu planning and food industry standards is a plus
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during late-night shifts
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards
