Responsibilities
- Operate laundry equipment efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens, towels, and guest clothing to maintain quality standards.
- Handle special cleaning requests such as dry cleaning or stain removal with precision and care.
- Conduct comprehensive room checks to ensure all guest rooms meet cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards before guest check-in.
- Identify and report maintenance issues or damages found during room inspections to ensure swift resolution.
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and storage spaces, adhering to safety and hygiene protocols.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking linen supplies and laundry chemicals, ensuring optimal stock levels.
- Support the hotel’s overall cleaning efforts by participating in general housekeeping tasks when needed.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Knowledge of laundry procedures, including dry cleaning techniques, is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for thorough room inspections.
- Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently.
- Good physical stamina to stand, lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
