SECURITY GUARD SUPERVISOR

Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and professional Security Guards to join our team, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of state-owned properties, including remote facilities and areas with limited access. As part of our team, you will provide 24/7 security coverage, including vehicle patrol, monitoring facilities, responding to incidents, and ensuring safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Security Guard Supervisor (SGS) → Security Guard Manager (SGM) The Security Guard Supervisor (SGS) shall report directly to the Security Guard Manager (SGM) regarding all operational matters occurring during assigned shifts.
The SGS is responsible for immediately notifying the SGM of the following:
- Staffing shortages or call-offs
- Late arrivals or attendance concerns
- Policy violations or misconduct
- Security incidents or emergencies
- Client complaints or concerns
- Equipment failures or operational deficiencies
- Safety hazards or maintenance concerns
- Trespassing incidents, disturbances, or law enforcement activity
- Any incident requiring an Incident Report (IR)
- The SGS shall also: Submit completed DARs and IRs to the SGM for review.
- Provide shift summaries and pass-down information at the end of each shift.
- Notify the SGM immediately of any incident that may impact contract operations, client relations, or officer safety.
- Maintain open communication with the SGM throughout the shift regarding operational status and staffing conditions.
Failure to properly notify or report incidents to the SGM may result in disciplinary action.
Requirements:
- Valid Security Guard License and ability to maintain compliance with state regulations.
- Ability to drive and operate 4-wheel drive vehicles, with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to patrol large areas, including unpaved surfaces.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and in stressful situations.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to report findings clearly and professionally.
- Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, with occasional overtime.
· Strong Attention to Detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
· Ability to stay calm and effective during emergencies or stressful situations.
· Excellent Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
· Technical Skills: Comfortable using CCTV and access control systems, along with basic computer skills.
