Overview
W.E. Davies & Sons is looking to onboard a SKILLED carpenter who also considers their knowledge to align with the role of a Handyman. This person will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, renovation, and maintenance tasks in residential homes. Your expertise will contribute to fixing, repairing, updating home safety features, functionality, and appearance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on interior and exterior of homes by using carpentry and other home improvement skills.
- Perform residential finishing work to enhance property appearance.
- Manage home maintenance tasks including light HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work while trouble shooting issues and referring trades partners if applicable.
- Managing projects to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed using the company's CRM system.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards during all activities.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally.
Experience
- Proven hands-on experience in facilities maintenance or residential/commercial carpentry.
- Experience with interior and exterior residential carpentry.
- Background in maintenance is a plus.
- Must have carpentry work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in a maintenance or construction environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
