Job Description:
Under general supervision, performs clerical work for the Online Education and Individual Studies (OEIS) unit and Self-Paced Online Courses (SPOC); serves as the HRS liaison for the College of Graduate, Research and Online Education (GROE); processes HRS forms and Period Activity Pay (PAP) for GROE; creates and maintains the temporary faculty sheet for Online Education and Individual Studies (OEIS); completes adjunct appointment forms to generate offer letters; serves as an enrollment contact for Self-Paced Online Courses (SPOC); monitors enrollments and completions for SPOC; responds to SPOC questions regarding rules, regulations and procedures; processes SPOC enrollments and exams; gathers data on student withdrawals; oversees the approvals for external proctors; prepares and complies data to help inform operational decisions and procedures; provides direct support for the Associate Director; collects, verifies, and analyzes data for specialized reports; supports the Associate Director with financial transactions and account reconciliation; supports the overall efforts of the Online Education and Individual Studies unit; maintains scholarship information and submits financial aid rosters; schedules distance education courses via the SIS; creates routine and non-routine correspondence; assists with specialized projects; and performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Eligibility Requirement:
Any combination of progressively responsible related clerical office experience, related undergraduate education, and/or post high school clerical training that is the equivalent to four years of full-time employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree; strong attention to detail; ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks; strong interpersonal and excellent written and verbal communication skills; effective teamwork and customer service skills; ability to keep accurate records; excellent computer skills; and knowledge of business and financial processes preferred.
