RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct hand, laboratory, and pilot scale, new and reformulation product trials, and write reports.

Support Scientists in conducting product development trials and pilot batches by gathering raw materials and weighing per instructions.

Perform product development, equipment set-up, operation, and clean-up.
-
Perform visual inspection and physical testing on intermediates and finished trial products.
-
Assists Formulation Scientists in preparing documents.
-
Perform rework trials under the guidance of the R&D supervisor.
-
Perform physical testing of new and secondary raw materials.
-
Other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Associate, Bachelor of Arts or Science (Chemistry Preferred)

2–5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical R&D and/or manufacturing environment preferred.

Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, SOPs, GMPs, and FDA regulations.

Ability to work with MS Word and Excel, and able to write reports and perform data entry.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to lift 25 pounds.
