As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an outstanding dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages with precision and care.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage multiple tables efficiently, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest questions effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
