Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented New Construction Cleaner. In this role, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and preparing newly constructed residential or commercial buildings to ensure they meet high standards of cleanliness and readiness for occupancy. Your energetic approach and commitment to quality will help create safe, spotless environments that impress clients and support smooth project completions. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of new construction sites, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to eliminate debris and construction residues.
- Sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas by disinfecting surfaces, fixtures, and appliances to meet health standards.
- Remove leftover materials such as drywall dust, packaging, and construction waste using manual handling techniques and proper disposal methods.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, doors, and fixtures to ensure clarity and shine for final inspections.
- Conduct outdoor cleaning tasks such as sweeping walkways, clearing debris from entryways, and maintaining exterior cleanliness around the site.
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping management.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, polishing, and maintenance of various flooring types.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate professionally with project managers or site supervisors.
- Familiarity with sanitation standards and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior areas of construction sites.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy construction environment.
