Penmac Staffing has partnered with a seafood processing company in the Motley area and is now hiring Full-Time Production Workers for ALL SHIFTS — with immediate openings available!
Position Overview
Join a fast-paced production team working with fresh and frozen seafood products. This is a great opportunity for dependable individuals looking for steady, full-time work.
Key Responsibilities
- Place product on conveyor belts, trays, or into pouches
- Weigh fish to meet exact specifications
- Trim and process product using a knife per SOP
- Remove bones (pin-boning) to ensure product quality
- Package fresh or frozen seafood for shipment or storage
- Assemble, tape, label, and palletize boxes
- Maintain clean work areas and equipment
- Complete required documentation for tracking and traceability
Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Food production experience is a plus (not required)
- Ability to work independently or on a team
- Strong communication and basic math skills
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to identify product types and specifications
Physical Requirements
- Lift 42+ lbs regularly
- Stand for up to 8 hours per shift
- Use of knives required
- Work in a cool, wet, and damp production environment
- Good hand-eye coordination
Pay & Schedule
1st Shift:
- $18.25/hour
- Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Monday-Friday 6:00AM - 3:00PM
2nd Shift:
- $20.75/hour
- Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
3rd Shift:
- $20.75/hour
- Monday–Friday | 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM
