American Guard Services (AGS) is currently hiring Unarmed Security Officers for a government site located in Kona, Big Island, Hawaii (96740). We are seeking reliable, professional, and customer-focused individuals with strong situational awareness and crowd management skills.
Schedule
- Wednesday: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Thursday: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Sunday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure assigned property and personnel
- Provide excellent customer service to visitors and staff
- Maintain situational awareness and identify potential security concerns
- Assist with crowd management and access control procedures
- Document incidents and communicate effectively with supervisors
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid Hawaii Guard Card required
- Clean criminal background record
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to remain alert and respond appropriately to security situations
