Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC machinery and a strong understanding of machining processes. This role is critical in ensuring the precision and quality of our products while adhering to safety and efficiency standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines, including stamping presses, to produce high-quality components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate machining processes.
- Utilize CAM programming software to set up and optimize machine operations.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Conduct quality checks using basic math skills to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products.
- Maintain accurate records of production output and machine performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically with CNC machinery and machining processes.
- Familiarity with stamping presses, logic controllers, and factory operations is preferred.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
- Experience with Fanuc systems or similar CNC controls is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
