JOB DESCRIPTION: Field Service Technician – Level III
REPORTS TO: District Manager
JOB SUMMARY: Scope of this position involves the mastering of all rig up and rig down operations of Scout and third-party equipment on customer fracking locations. Additionally, employees in this role will have the ability to train Level I and II technicians on tasks related to rig up and down operations. Level III Field Service Technicians are adaptable to Scout and customer needs.
Responsibilities are but not limited to:
At all times operate in a safe and responsible manner ensuring your own personal safety and the safety of those around you.
Adhere and enforce company policies and safety standards.
Critical assembly lifts with forklift during rig up and rig down operations on customer locations.
Competence the assembling of monobore equipment using hydraulic torque wrenches. Assemble and torque connections at API standards.
Verify all torque connections and ensure full functionality of Scout and third-party equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment and report any malfunctioning or damaged products. Become involved in determining the nature and scope of problem, recommend and coordinate repair, replacement, or corrective action.
Make suggested repairs on equipment.
Conduct field inventory lists as well as collect asset numbers.
Clean and maintain Scout-owned tooling.
Conduct and master all third-party related jobs (test pumps, frack stacks, wellheads/B-sections, toe preps).
Train Level I & II Technicians on all Scout-related field operations including rig ups, rig downs, hydraulic torque wrenches, and additional third-party related jobs as mentioned above.
Other duties and projects as assigned.
