Jamestown Estate Homes, LP is available to build in master-planned luxury living communities as well as on the customer’s own lot. We are currently seeking a Builder's Representative/Host for our model homes, in the Waller and Hockley area. This is a part-time position. Minimal residential construction or sales experience preferred, but not required. The Builder's Representative is responsible for meeting and greeting the public and potential home buyers. Maintain model home, spec houses in the community and assist with marketing, including community lead in signs. This position will work closely with our elite sales team and construction Area Managers. Hourly Rate - $16.00 + incentives
Primary Responsibilities:
· Maintain model home, spec houses and community, keep tidy
· Conduct and or supervise various activities to generate prospective buying traffic to the area to which he/she is assigned.
· Greet, qualify, demonstrate, site, close, follow up with Prospects.
· Help with advertising and marketing
· Community lead in signs
· Assisting Prospects and Buyers
· Knowledge of amenities of the community along with location of schools and school district information
The Builder's Rep/Host will be responsible for courteously greeting the public, explaining the process of building and/or buying a home, providing information about the Company's homes to the public, and shepherding the customers through and assisting with the construction process (when applicable) and closing. If assigned to a model home or "open house" the Builder's Rep/Host is responsible for the appearance and will maintain the home(s) assigned. The home must be clean, attractive, and presentable. If the Company decides training is required, the Builder's Rep/Host will train under and take direction from whom the Company designates for such a purpose. Builder's Rep/Host must become familiar with, and fully comply with all the Company's policies and procedures, including those set forth in the Company's Employee Handbook, as it currently exists and as it may be modified from time to time.
The Builder’s Rep/Host will adhere to the company dress code of Professional Attire. Basic elements for ‘Professional Attire’ include clothing that is neat, clean, ironed, free of rips, holes and stains. Clothing should be modest, well-tailored and free of images or graphics. Denim is not allowed, dress pants should be sharp and pressed, collared shirts or blouses should be crisp and tucked in, button-down shirts preferred. Skirts or dresses should be approximately 2” above the knee. The footwear should be dress shoes; tennis shoes are not allowed. Specific headgear is allowed, such as a Fedora or a stylish Sunhat. Business Professional Attire does not include clothing that is too tight or revealing as in, shoulders should always be covered, no spaghetti straps or mid-drift or low-cut tops. shoes with heels higher than 4", excess accessories, strong fragrances or colored hair. Baseball cap, visor or a beanie are not allowed. Any tattoos should not be visible. Employees are expected to demonstrate good judgment to present a professional image to customers. Good grooming is also essential. Hair, including facial hair, should be groomed and maintained, and any nail polish should not be chipped
