Casual Dining Kitchen Manager – $65,000-$70,000 – Established Full- Service Concept
A high-volume, scratch-kitchen restaurant concept in Branson, MO is looking for a Kitchen Manager to help lead back-of-house operations. This is a well-established brand with a loyal local following, a full working kitchen, and a menu built around made-from-scratch cooking rather than shortcuts — a great fit for someone who takes pride in food quality and wants a kitchen that's actually set up to do it right. Only candidates with prior high-volume, proven KM experience with a casual dining concept will be considered for an interview.
You'll be a key part of the leadership team, working alongside the General Manager to keep the kitchen running smoothly during high-volume shifts, manage food cost and inventory, and hold the line on consistency and cleanliness standards. This is a hands-on role — you'll be on the line, coaching cooks in real time, and setting the pace for the shift, not just handling paperwork from an office.
What you'll be doing:
- Overseeing daily kitchen operations, including line management during peak volume
- Managing food cost, inventory, ordering, and waste control
- Hiring, training, and developing kitchen staff
- Enforcing food safety, sanitation, and health code standards
- Partnering with the GM on menu execution and quality control
- Scheduling and labor management to hit budgeted targets
What we're looking for:
- 2+ years of Kitchen Manager experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant is a must
- Strong food cost and inventory management skills
- A hands-on leadership style — you lead from the line, not just the office
- ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
